How to Import Packages in MDT 2012

Importing OS Packages or Hotfixes

In our example, we will import a hotfix kb2028749 within our MDT Packages console. Similarly you can add any other package like Language packs.

1.       Download the OS Package and Import it in a folder on MDT server

2.       Go to Deployment Share -> Packages. Right click and Import OS Packages 

3.       Specify the folder where packages are downloaded and kept

4.       Click Next on Summary Page 

5.       Click Finish on Confirmation Page

6.       Now your package is imported on the MDT server as below

7.       Now go to Deployment Share. Right Click and Update Deployment Share
