We have already discussed How to Create Policy in the Part 1 post, now we will discuss the post to apply the policy to user or group.

How to Apply PSO to User or Group:

In this example we are going to apply the above created “Test IT Pwd Policy” to ITING Group which contains “TestIT1” user account.

Step 1: Open Active Directory Users and Computers and navigate to “System > Password Settings Container”
Note: Advanced Mode needs to be enabled in this window.

Step 3: Click “Add Windows Accounts” button.

Step 4: Select the user or group you want to apply this PSO and click “OK”

Step 5: Click “OK”

Step 6: Click “OK”

Step 7: Click “Apply” & then “OK”
